What to do in a medical emergency?

Sometimes, life tests your aptitude and composer when you need to handle some very serious situations for which you were not prepared. The medical emergencies are among such things that real test the human skills to the great level of composer and decision making. Anybody can survive from any medical emergency situation at any time without any warning. There are plenty of road accidents where victims were rushed to the nearby medical units to save their lives. Not only the road accidents, even while sitting at home when someone suffers a cardiac arrest or any sort of medical disorder, at that time a sound action is required to save the life of the victim.

During a medical emergency the first and foremost thing is required is to provide the basic medical or non medical aid to the victim. For example, in many cases when people faint suddenly because of a cardiac arrest than they need to first give the water shower to retain their consciousness. It is very important to keep the patient conscious till he/she reach the nearest medical facility or medical help is arrived to the patient. Once the patient of cardiac arrests starts losing his/her consciousness, then it becomes quite difficult to retain their consciousness even for the medical consultants. Till the time medical help is arrived the people with the patient needed to put water in the patient face to keep them conscious.

During such emergencies a sound and life saving action are required for the attendants and even doctors for the patient. Though, once the medical help arrives the professional medical experts and consultants than take the charge of the situation as they were already prepared for this. But, sometimes, during rush hours, one has to take the patient to the nearby facility for the immediate medical help and during such emergency, if the main medical consultant or physician is not available in the facility than the situation would have become a hazard. The patient was in a so critical stage where it is not possible again to transport him/her to another medical facility, or perhaps the other nearby medical facility would be miles away from the current facility.
